Leaving Australia
In Perth, about to board our flight to DOH, then onto LHR Because we were flying Qatar, we needed to catch a domestic flight from Brisbane to Perth, so no departure photo under the big, yellow BNE International sign. Did we really leave the country...

The NORTH
Soo G.O.T. ... makes us laugh every time we see a sign with this header.
Backyard of the BnB
After growing up in Queensland, where keeping pet rabbits brings a maximum fine of $44,000, to find about a dozen bunnies hoping around the backyard was a little unreal. They seemed to get on very well with the two dozen chickens they shared the space with, as well as visiting squirrels and birds.
Peterborough Cathedral
This magnificent cathedral celebrates it's 900th Anniversary in 2018. Catherine of Aragon, first wife of Henry VIII is buried here.
Weekend in Peterborough...
We headed out to the Rowing Park for a bit of peace and quiet, and found... the local Dragon Boat Races! About 30 corporate teams, complete with costumes, having a great Sunday afternoon and raising money for charities into the bargin.
BnB family
The family at the Airbnb were very welcoming; we became part of birthday celebrations and family dinners while we were staying.
